We are hiring for our first ever resource manager at Instrument! If you are a producer at heart and thrive at solving complex challenges with a partnership mindset, we’re excited to meet you. As resource manager you are the hub for supporting our agency's staffing needs. You will be an extension of our production team creating a fluid system of agency talent. You are the main point of contact for the resource management request process including resource availability, booking confirmations, client conflict resolutions, and resource roll-off in support of our agency delivery needs. We are seeking an individual who is excited to grow alongside our rapidly growing agency and be a key contributor to the build out of our talent management program.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with the VP of Production and Recruiting Team to provide solutions on talent management and respond to critical team delivery needs.

  • Recommend and help build our process improvements for Resource Management with VP of Production.

  • Work with producers, VPs, and team leads to understand internal agency/freelance resource availability and match underutilized resources to team needs.

  • Partner with our recruiting team to book talent, extend talent contracts, and proactively provide talent recommendations for resource requests.

  • Work with our internal recruiting team to help support, maintain, and build on a pre-existing network of contacts.

  • Manage and resolve resource booking conflicts with team leads and producers.

  • Manage resourcing forecast spreadsheets/database for all teams based on input from weekly meetings and the Production Team.

  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing.

  • Prepare documentation and paperwork for freelance hires, and provide recommendations on streamlining and innovating on current processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2-3 years in a resource management function within an agency environment.

  • A deep understanding of agency roles across: Production, Strategy, Technology, and Creative, and Research to match team members against projects.

  • A human-based approach to talent management to best match talent to teams/projects.

  • A growth-mindset that is able to fluidly change context and respond to agency needs.

  • The drive to help enhance our talent base and manage our talent needs.

  • Familiarity with resource management software such as Float Asana.

  • Familiarity with or the passion to learn candidate applicant tracking software.
