Creative Design and Content Manager - Women's Basketball

The University of Colorado Athletics Department encourages applications for a Creative Design and Content Manager for Women's Basketball! As our Creative Design and Content Manager, you will be responsible for the conceptualization and design of digital/social communication elements and video breakdown for Women's Basketball (WBB) recruiting. Every day, you will manage recruiting content for all WBB social media channels including related photography and video, create digital design elements such as social media graphics and motion graphics (GIFs), and work closely with the coaching staff to complete all requests to ensure a consistent identity and brand. This position works closely with the Director of Digital Strategy on overall engagement strategy
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objective of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department’s Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac 12 conference and the NCAA.

The salary is $61,000- $70,000 annually. What We Require: Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ years of directly related creative design experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Demonstrated visual design skills (e.g., typography, color, layout, and digital design, etc.), Demonstrated knowledge of social media marketing and engagement (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, Ability to succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, Demonstrated dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion, Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, After Effects and Microsoft Office, Understand how to use a video camera for filming practice/games, Knowledge of motion graphic production, Experience with sports graphic design, and Knowledge of the game of basketball.
