Our client is continuing its mission of changing lives through its integrated retail and digital strategy. In support of its mission and the increasing demand for innovative, relevant and sophisticated content to accompany company growth and expansion in the health arena, our client is scaling the content organization through a combination of full-time internal team members and flexible teams who operate as an extension of the internal team. We are assisting in building an external, flexible team of writers will execute on specific content in health, clinical, and more general brand content, focused around healthcare and health services.
We are hiring a Generalist Copywriter to work remotely on this client project, with at least 20 hours of work per week. Hourly pay range is $60-70, depending on background, experience and skillset. Ideally, you’ll have at least 3 + years of writing experience and can flexible with your writing skills to create a wide variety of content types.
What will you be working on? * Developing content for editorial team (writing only, design/creative direction is not part of this role) * Proofing content * Managing individual deadlines
What are the key deliverables you should have? Supporting the editorial team with a wide variety of content development including:
Content Styles/Topic Range:
- Health Education
- Human Interest
- Publisher Style / Narrative
What are the top 3 skills/requirements you’ll need? * Creative Thinking (what’s a topic that you’ve written about that required a unique approach?) * Excellent written communication * Attention to detail
Any specific technical requirements? * Healthcare and/or Clinical and/or Life Sciences experience in a communications, marketing or creative team environment would be a big plus but not required.
